| Netflix not planning to match Blockbuster's online rental pricecut |

 If you're a Blockbuster online rental subscriber, you've probably already heard the good news.. Blockbuster has lowered their monthly rental price to $14.99 a month for 3 movies out at a time & 2 in-store rental coupons per month. Isn't competition great? Netflix does not plan on lowering their prices any further, according to a recent article on Yahoo. Netflix does not believe lower prices will affect subscriber loyalty, since Wal-Mart has offered a lower price for months.
Earlier this year, when Netflix was still the only game in town, they had raised their subscription fees to $22 -- now that there's some competition between Blockbuster, Netflix, Walmart & possibly Amazon soon, renting movies online is getting much cheaper & much more convenient. |
