| Arcade Trackball Mouse Hack |

 Posted some info on my own experiment with connecting an arcade trackball to a PC by hacking into a ball mouse. I created a wire harness for the mouse using a molex receptacle so the trackball harness did not have to be cut..which came in handy when I tested several other trackballs I bought. Old school Marble Madness is actually pretty enjoyable with a trackball, as are some of the bowling games and of course games like Centipede. It's pretty neat looking back on all of the different arcade controllers throughout the years and how they added their own uniqueness to the games they were designed for. The technology in newer console interfaces like PS3 move and XBox Kinect wins hands-down in controller capabilities but still cool how something as simple as substituting a trackball for a mouse can change the overall user experience.
