 Usually when I get ads in the mail I toss them right in the trash, but I found one that actually might have taught me a thing or two. My registrar sent me some coupons & information on a promotion they'll soon be running, and mentioned how it might be best to renew domains for more than a year. Turns out, some search engines might use the expiration date as part of the "quality control" mechanisms they have in place. Search Engine Guide's article has some more info on this. |
