|Synchronous Backups From Windows -> Linux

|Earlier this week I had come across a script-based FTP client, which got me thinking about the lack of a good backup system for some of my desktops at home. With having a job in the computer industry, it's sometimes tough to keep up with personal endevours because often times the last thing you want to do is get involved in any more projects than necessary on your time off =)
I finally decided that instead of trying to script an FTP client or wait for the next version of ScriptFTP (w/ scheduling support), that I would see if I could Rsync from a Windows machine to FreeBSD using CYGWIN. The following two articles assisted me in the setup I wanted:
I had everything up and running within an hour and began synch'ing files. I am pleasantly surprised with the results of this setup and now have exactly the kind of backup mechanism I wanted.
